My mom has had her car for over a year now, and it’s perfect for her. Sure, if you’re comparing to the interior of an LS460 or the driving experience of a GTI, you’re gonna be disappointed. But if all you want is a little commuter hatch with slightly premium trimmings, surprisingly good steering, terrific reliability, and fantastic fuel economy, it does quite well. I also happen to think it looks good. Hopefully Lexus replaces it with something even better.

I have a work buddy with an older black one with the nice brown leather interior - it really is nice and he loves it. He also has a Forester XT and prefers the little Lexus for road tripping.

I would gladly drive this if they made a non-hybrid version of it by stuffing a turbo 4 under the hood and tighten up the suspension.
